A solid pad for a soak that lasts.
Level, reinforced pads and paver bases for hot tubs and swim spas, with access paths, steps, privacy screens and electrical planning.
- Pad: Reinforced concrete or deep paver base
- Electrical: Coordinated with licensed electrician
- Surface: Non-slip pavers or concrete

What it is, and why it matters.
A filled hot tub weighs thousands of pounds, so the pad underneath must be flat, strong and drained. We build reinforced concrete pads or deep compacted paver bases sized for the tub, coordinate the electrician for the disconnect and conduit and add steps, a surround and privacy screening so the area feels like a retreat.
In Nashville, heavy rain and clay soils make drainage around a spa pad essential. We slope surfaces away from the tub, add drains where needed and choose non-slip surfaces that stay comfortable on bare, wet feet.

Hot Tub & Spa Pads: common questions
How thick should a hot tub pad be?
Four to six inches of reinforced concrete over compacted stone is common for most spas. Heavy swim spas need more. We follow the manufacturer's guidance.
Can I put a hot tub on pavers?
Yes, on a deep, compacted base with edge restraint, sized for the load. Many owners prefer a concrete pad under the tub with pavers around it.
