The overview

What it is, and why it matters.

A driveway takes more weight and more abuse than any patio, so the base is everything. We excavate deeper, install geotextile where needed, build the stone base in compacted lifts and use thicker pavers rated for vehicles. Edge restraint, proper slope and careful joints keep the surface tight under years of turning tires.

Pavers give you color, pattern and repairability that asphalt and concrete cannot: if a utility cut or a root ever disturbs the drive, the pavers lift out and go back. In Nashville we plan for runoff toward the street, not the garage, and we blend the new drive with walks, aprons and steps.

Why homeowners choose it

Deep, compacted base

Built for tires, not just feet.

Herringbone strength

Patterns that interlock under load.

Repairable

Lift and reset any section later.

Slope toward the street, away from the garage.

Good questions

Paver Driveways: common questions

How much does a paver driveway cost?

Commonly published planning ranges for paver driveways run roughly $15 to $35 per square foot, depending on base depth, pattern, access and size. Our planner gives a quick estimate, and a visit gives you a written price.

Will pavers hold up to heavy trucks?

Vehicle-rated pavers on a deep compacted base handle daily traffic well. For frequent heavy loads, such as delivery or work trucks, we plan a thicker base and tell you what to expect.
